For the fans, it was an almost fantastic season for the Blues. Records were falling left and right, with Manchester City playing some of the most scintillating football the Premier League has ever seen. In fact, other than a ten-day spell in April, it was perfect.

As has become traditional Chris Bailey, of City TV, sits down with Manchester City Chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak to review the season and look forward to the future. It was a much different interview from the last campaign, with Manchester City winning the league in style.

For the Chairman, that made a difference. They style of play, and domination the side had in most games, had the boss enjoying every single game this past season. So much so that, as Chris Bailey pointed out, his stress relieving rowing machine had been put away!

Aside from the trophies the records were particular high points. Most of the records City now hold, you feel, would stand for quite a significant time. 100 points in a 38 game season is a particularly tough one to break. With only 114 points on offer for any one side before a ball is kicked, only thirteen points can be dropped.

The eighteen wins in a row combined with the amount of points gained away from home were another couple of team records noted. Individual records were also pointed out, and in particular the fact Manchester City had all of the top four assist kings in the League.
