Old Guard:

No one has been there quite as long as Vincent Kompany, who arrived pre Abu Dhabi takeover. Both he and David Silva have been involved in all the trophy wins since Yaya scored the winner against Stoke in that first FA cup win.

Sergio Aguero joined the season after, and still has to win the FA Cup with the Blues. I do seem to remember him playing against QPR for the final game of the season for the first Premier League win, but I could be wrong,

Next: Hometown Heroes

Players who have won this trophy for the third time now, also took to social media to celebrate. Just as excited as players to have won it for the first time, the hunger is still there, as Kompany noted.

Injured Aguero just kept the celebrations low key, but there is no mistaking the smile.

Finally, to David Silva. The Spaniard played in the game against Huddersfield but has been given the next one, against Brighton, off. The news about his son broke around five months ago, and since then he has been given special leave to be with his family.

Now things have been wrapped up, and the trophy lifted, we may not see him in a City shirt again until after the World Cup. His message was simple.

AS Pep would say, we will celebrate and then we get ready to go again!
