It’s been almost 48 hours since Pep was thrown in the air, and the trophy was dropped on the ground. The players have had time to soak in the feeling of being Champions of England, and have taken to social media to celebrate.

In a world where we feel more connected, it is good to see individual players and their reaction. For us fans it was a fantastic moment. I have written about just how classy I think the celebrations were, both during and after the presentation.

I know another, non-Manchester City journalist, thought it was over the top. For me though, I thought it was a nice touch to include all levels of the club. For all to wear the same shirts made it clear the club valued everyone’s contribution, and the seasons not over yet.
