Defenders:

Benjamin Mendy came on for a few minutes last weekend against Swansea and looked rusty. It wasn’t surprising, considering how long he’s been out. The question is will Pep start him in this game? While I think he will play some part in the game, I think Pep will start Fabian Delph for this fixture.

Kyle Walker will return to the right side of defense after being surplus to requirements last weekend. Danilo looked good, but Kyle Walker is much better in that position, and should start.

As for the center pairing, if it isn’t broken why fix it? Aymeric Laporte did well in the last two games alongside Vincent Kompany. The only question is whether Vinny is fit enough to go another game. If not then I am sure Nico Otamendi would be ready to go.
