Joe Hart’s Future: Time For A Reset?

So, baring in mind his great service to the club, and almost a decade as number one, there could be a solution. In the Premier League all eyes have been on Joe, and every mistake highlighted. Going abroad didn’t suit him so maybe, if West Ham decide against it, why not continue to pay a percentage of his wages for a Championship side?

Yes, he may not want to take that step down, but in the League One playoff picture right now is Shrewsbury Town FC. The town of his birth, and where he began his career. If they were to secure promotion into the Championship I think it might be a move he might be interested in.

Loan him to the Shrews for a season, and pay the difference in wages. We will lose him on a free in 2019 anyway, so what’s the harm. They will not be directly competing with us, unless in the FA Cup or League Cup. It is also where he had the confidence of youth and the ability which made us sign him in the first place.

If we could do that to give him his confidence, and form, back I think it would be a great ending to a magnificent Manchester City career.
