Party Time, Party Boys!

The entire game was pretty comfortable to be fair. However, after half time and the De Bruyne goal to put us 3-0 up, the party officially began. The fans were loud and in the mood, and that was obvious when KDB went off.

Walking off to a chorus of ‘Oh Kevin De Bruyne’ he was replaced by Yaya Toure. The Ivorian had time to soak in the atmosphere while a Swans player received treatment. Two Yaya Toure songs were sung with gusto as first the Yaya/Kolo song was heard before the ‘Delilah’ version took place.

Similar excitement was felt around the stadium when local boy Phil Foden stepped onto the field of play. In fact either a Foden or Yaya Toure goal was probably the only thing missing from making it a perfect game.

Even when Benjamin Mendy came on for the final fifteen minutes, he was welcomed back. Visibly rusty and having only a handful of performances in the sky blue shirt, he has gained his love from his Social Media presence.
