Manchester City: Points from five star City

Three Premier League titles now, and five top flight titles in our history. In a week when City matched Arsenals Premier League title tally, Arsene Wenger decided to stand down. One of only six sides to win the trophy, we are now joint third. Style wise though, this was one of the best.

It was going to be a test of Guardiola’s men. Out of the Champions League and FA Cup, there is nothing else to play for. A world Cup is on the horizon and players may already have one eye on that. Not a chance, not when Pep is the boss.

Despite a few changes from last weekend, City came out of the blocks flying. It was a party atmosphere from the moment the first goal went in, until long after the players had departed the turf.
