Champions League: Eleven to see off Basel

Goalkeeper:

I think Pep will certainly consider starting Claudio Bravo in goal. I think he might consider it, but will eventually opt for the Brazilian. Basel have nothing to lose when they visit the Etihad later tonight, and we need a keeper who can come out and clear up those hopeful balls over the top.

City have a Premier League fixture five days after, which he will no doubt also start. After that, it’s a warm weather training scheduled for the blues. I think that means Bravo gets two bench seats in the next two games, while Ederson starts.
