Defenders:

The question for me is about Vincent Kompany. Having played in both Arsenal wins he looked fit and comfortable, but could he go again? I think he could, if only for the fact that Arsenal didn’t really provide too many questions for the Blues defence….in either game.

But I do think either he, or Nicolas Otamendi, will be on the field at the start of play. Just for the sheer number of games played I think it will be Vinny. Alongside him could be Aymeric Laporte who missed both games since the Wigan defeat.

The right hand side will be interesting with Kyle limping off against Arsenal late on. He hadn’t been comfortable in his movement for most of that second half, and may not be risked in this game. I think it will be a major loss for City if he is missing though, with Danilo not able to offer what the Englishman does.

Danilo will start though, no matter what. On the right if Walker doesn’t make it and on the left he does. Zinchenko will take that left back spot if Walker does miss out.
