Team Has Fight!

Both the sides last night were a mirror image of their fans. Manchester City were there, even though they are points up on the closest opposition. It would have been easy for Blues fans, just like the players, to have that Cup winning hangover and not turn up last night.

Arsenal players were the ones who needed a response, and like their fans, just didn’t show up. The start from City was intense and just after 30 minutes  the game was won. The players knew it and the Arsenal manager knew it, as did everyone in the stadium!

Had Arsenal scored that penalty, you may have seen City put their foot back on the pedal. There was no need to do that though, and so the blues cruised through the games. If you do want to see just how badly the side fights though, just ask Nicolas Otamendi or Danny Welbeck. Both were absolutely clattered by City keeper Ederson, who was focused purely on retaining his clean sheet.
