Manchester City moved sixteen points clear of Manchester United with their win on Thursday night. In doing so, the Blues can all but smell the Premier League trophy, and potentially wrap it up at the earliest point in EPL history.

That would mark a landmark season for Pep Guardiola who was told last season that his style of football wouldn’t work in England. This season, for the most part, City have been exciting going forward, while being stronger at the back.

There will be more on that in later pieces, I’m sure. For now thoughI want to focus on last nights game and what I saw from our 90 minutes in London focusing, of course, on a City perspective. For Arsenal, the inquest will need to be had without real resolution. Last night though, with fans staying away, I think their conversation has been advanced somewhat.
