Captain Fantastic Is Back

So, both ends of the field, Vinny was immense in this game. It was good to see Vinny lift another trophy for the Blues. His participation in games in recent seasons have been steadily in decline through injury.

At the back he was assured, and even got the better of Aubameyang in a foot race. I must admit I did fear the Belgian wouldn’t make it the full 90 minutes and my heart skipped a beat every time he stretched for a ball.

Up front, he got the second goal. That put daylight between the two sides and what it meant to the skipper wasn’t hard to see.
