Tony Book:

Many would say he is still the greatest Captain to lead out a Manchester City side. And, they may be right. Tony Book joined City as an older player in 1966. He won the clubs first ever player of the year award and would go on to lift every major trophy.

Winning the top flight title in 1968 was just the beginning for Tony Book under the Mercer/Allison partnership. Next came the FA Cup in 1969 was followed by a League Cup and European Cup winners cup double.

Retiring from football in 1974 he would go on to manage the side to one more success in 1976. So with four trophies, Tony Book is second, well actually joint top, on the list.
