Defenders:

Neither Aymeric Laporte nor John Stones (both pictured) took part in the Champions League game midweek. Does that mean they both start in the center of Manchester City’s defence for Mondays game?

It wouldn’t be a bad thing to see the two youngsters together, just to see how they work together. Certainly you wouldn’t want to risk Vincent Kompany for a second straight 90 minutes, especially with a Cup Final on the horizon.

By the same token, Nico has been immense this season. The amount of miles his legs have got over the season, and with the Chelsea game coming up, he may find himself on the bench, or coming off early on if the result is in our favor.

At the right I think you have to figure on Kyle Walker starting, with Delph starting his second game on the left.
