Leroy Sane’s On Fire!

Yes he scored the opening goal, but his game is more than that. The run against Newcastle was probably the one piece of play you could look at as an example. Last night he was also full of running.

Some people were left upset with the Germans goal celebration, but I’m not entirely sure why. It really wasn’t over the top, merely a hushing of the crowd and apparently a ‘calm down’ gesture. If you watch the crowd, some behind the goal are already jumping up and gesturing before the ball even hits the net. Maybe his celebration was a reaction the crowd rather than anything else.

Aside from that, another fantastic performance and he has only just turned 22 years old. We have another decade of this guy, and four years until he should reach his prime.
