Midfielders:

Fernandinho may be getting up there in age, and Fred may be coming in soon for City. For now however, Fernandinho continues to be one of the most vital cogs in the Pep Guardiola wheel. Yaya Toure has stepped into the role when Fernie has been rested, and looked poor.

The amount of energy, mental focus and selflessness needed for the role is just something the Ivorian cannot replicate to the standard needed. In front of the Brazilian is Kevin DeBruyne, who Captained the side to their Semi Final game against Bristol City.

If fit, and available, has to be David Silva. The Spaniard has really been torn over the past few weeks with his personal life, quite rightly, taking priority over the football. Again, if he can be with us then he starts but if not, then Ilkay Gundogan is not a bad replacement.
