City Fighting Spirit:

Although, as said earlier, the Bristol City goal happened close to half time, City did almost go into the break level. Raheem Sterling had that chip shot cleared off the line shortly afterwards by the only defender in the side that could have got to it probably.

Second half was a flurry of activity forward though and, ten minutes after the restart, Kevin DeBruyne pulled the sides level. While both those incidents show a certain amount of getting back up and dusting oneself off, it would be the final few minutes which impressed me.

Still looking for the win, even though the game has a second leg, showed that fighting spirit to get the job done. Yes, it may not have been the huge score-line some were predicting, but its a lead we take to the Gate.

Sergio Aguero, coming onto the pitch late on, showed he still has something to offer the club. Not that most of us needed reminding, but the press are always trying to have Kun on his way out and surplus to requirements.
