Sunday will see a chance for Manchester City to finish the calendar year of 2017 with 100 Premier League points. The 58 we currently have in this campaign, when added to the 39 accumulated last season, from January onwards, means a victory will get us to that century.

For Pep, it’s no secret he doesn’t consider records that important, unless they result in trophies at the end of the season. Depending on results on Saturday, when Chelsea host Stoke and United host Southampton, it could see us restore that fifteen point lead, or possibly even the chance to pull further ahead.

With a game on Wednesday away to Newcastle, and another on Tuesday at home to Watford, rotation really could be in evidence for the early Sunday trip to London. So how should Pep line the side up?
