December:

As we entered the final month City faced two big games in quick succession, although only one was at the Etihad.

Before we got to those though, we had to try to negotiate our way past a newly encouraged West Ham side.

It proved to be a real test also, as we actually fell behind right before the half-time whistle. Nicolas Otamendi pulled us level just before the hour mark before David Silva turned the tie around with minutes to go.

Two weeks later and it was the visit of Spurs to the Etihad. It was meant to be a battle of Premier League contenders, but only one really came to play.

Initially Tottenham had set out with that plan, but before long were reduced to over-the-top, potential leg breaking, tackles. That day, football won out as City romped to a 4-1 victory. Kevin DeBruyne (pictured) scored that second only minutes after a potential season ending tackle from Dele Alli.

Finally, and only a week later, Bournemouth fell to a four-score result. Even Danilo would join in on the scoring to finish out the year, unbeaten at home.
