October and November:

Oct: An unlikely hero came out of October to keep our run alive. Second tier, Wolverhampton Wanderers ran us close and kept us out of their goal for normal time and another 30!

Prior to that, two League games and a difficult Champions League game against Napoli, had all seen City victories.

7-2 against Stoke City started October after the International break. Three days later was the 2-1 Champions League victory and four days after that, came a 3-0 against Burnley.

Nov: Another two Premier League games and a Champions League game at the Etihad. All ending in victories.

Arsenal were the first, and fell 3-1 before Feyenoord would visit a little over two weeks later. A solitary Raheem Sterling goal in that game would be enough to secure top spot in the group for City, with a game to go.

Finally a stoppage time Raheem Sterling goal eventually gave us all three points in a 2-1 win against Southampton to finish off November.
