Played fairly well for the half he was involved in. Injured, and having to come off, Pep is clearly frustrated.

After having so many small knocks, keeping him out for multiple games, is not what you want from a player in your squad.

With games coming thick and fast for successful sides, you cannot afford passengers. Coming back from injury for two or three games simply isn’t good enough.

We probably will dip into the market in January for reinforcements and the amount of time Vinny spends away from the first team will make an end of season decision that much easier.
