Eleven straight League wins is a club record for Manchester City. It follows on from a whole host of records the side have set so far this season, both personally and over various competitions.

The Nicolas Otamendi own goal just before half time set us up to be able to do something we hadn’t done since April 17th 1995.

In that game, away to Blackburn at Ewood Park went a goal down in the early stages of the game. A penalty from our Captain, Keith Curle, pulled us level before ex Captain, Colin Hendry restored the hosts lead.

At half time, we were behind. Second half goals from Uwe Rosler and Paul Walsh saw us victorious, away from home, after being behind at the half.

We hadn’t ever done that in a League game since. Yes there was the game against Spurs that one time, but that was an FA Cup fixture. So today, we replaced that twenty plus year statistic.
