As with John Stones, I am a little annoyed with the way the National side manager, Julen Lopetegui, handled his players.

As you might remember, David Silva played the full 90 against Costa Rica on Saturday. In last nights game, he came on for the last 30 minutes.

He, along with Kevin DeBruyne I thought, were starting to look gassed in the last couple of games for Manchester City. I was hoping they would both be used sparingly. But it seems that, in David’s case at least, that didn’t happen.
