It’s always a worrying time for club managers when players go off on International duty. It is even more of a worry when you combine the upcoming hectic schedule for domestic sides with the National sides, for the most part, playing friendlies.

You have to hope that players are honest with their National team coaches and let them know of sprains or strains, and of the coach not to push needlessly. Of course, injury can happen anytime, anywhere but most managers would rue their luck to pick up one now. So how did the City boys do for their respective countries?
