The Premier League takes a break for a couple of weeks making way for International games. And with the majority of those International games being nothing more than friendlies, talk turns to potential player movement in January.

Of course, for City, the biggest rumor of January will be the same as in the summer. The will he, won’t he, move to the Etihad of Alexis Sanchez.

Of course asking him, or Pep, and it’s clear he will. The issue, as with in the summer, is the Chileans current boss.

Growing up I was always taught that when you borrow something which is not yours, you return it as you found it.

Arsene Wenger is on course to do that as he tries his best to get Arsenal mid-table before his contract runs down. With his decision skills you wouldn’t really trust him with the television remote, much less a football club with the stature of Arsenal. But that’s beside the point.
