Much was made of Alexis Sanchez going to the Etihad, a place he should be playing every other week. I was interested in to how he would play, and how much ‘desire’ he would have.

There wouldn’t be any doubt over his effort, and I knew we’d see a lot of running. I was just interested in to what spaces he would run in to.

Playing as the central striker, a position he considers his best, he spent most of his early moments running towards the side and to the corners.

He lost the ball numerous times in the first half alone, I actually stopped counting as it got to double digits. Even the missus made a comment, so you know it was bad!

I won’t go as far as to say it was his worst performance in an Arsenal shirt, but I think it was one of his least productive.
