I don’t like beating up on Raheem Sterling like some pundits do, but he does frustrate me at times. That said, I am sure I am behind both the player and Pep Guardiola as far as frustration levels go.

Yes, he won the penalty which Aguero converted. His willingness to continually run into the area, and draw contact, is fantastic.

Unlike Wenger I don’t think he dived for todays penalty. There was contact and that was some smart play on Raheem’s part.

That was a moment when I actually turned to the long-suffering missus and said if we score this, we’ll win no worries. If he misses, Arsenal will get back in to the game. As it happened, Aguero scored, and we went on to win 3-1.

Earlier on in the game though, he demonstrated his more frustrating side. His indecision whether to pass to Sane, who was in space, or shoot resulted in a ‘Croot’. Neither on target to be a shot nor delicate enough to be a cross it was a wasted chance.
