Taking Risks!

Not sure if Jordi could foresee the bore draw his former club would play out against Liverpool, but his words were profound. He said that football is all about taking risks.

If you do not take risks then you will end up with 0-0 and a boring game. Klopp the Flopp and Jose Bore-inho both decided to play safe at the weekend and the game suffered.

Last season, and this, Pep took risks. Sometimes it was detrimental to the clubs success, but if you want to win the lottery, you have to buy a ticket.

You have to let your creative players create. Short messages in the team briefing rather than 45 minute videos and emphasis on having lots of on field training sessions. You can have beautiful football and results, but it takes a lot of time and effort to achieve. Are we seeing the fruits this season, of last seasons focus on development over results. Pep did say, in many interviews, that performance was more important than a result and that just because City win, he may not be happy. Similar with dropping points may not have him upset, so long as the performance was there.
