Portugal headed into the international break not necessarily needing to win, but would have been in a tough spot if they were to not win both games — they would have had to partake in a playoff match.

Next: What now for Bravo?

From what I’ve seen Bernardo Silva started up top in a 4-4-2 against their 2-0 win in Andorra. However, he was free to roam the pitch and had a hand in all of Portugal’s chances.

Here’s a link to highlights of his performance. (against Switzerland)

Against Switzerland, Silva put in a man of the match of the performance with a great display, this time looking like he played on the wing/outside mid position. Silva confirmed their qualification with a great ball to Andre Silva for their second goal and giving them the chance to top the group. Looks like Silva is becoming a crucial part of Portugal’s first team and expect him to get more minutes at City as well.
