A thrilling international break finally came to a halt Wednesday, after numerous big name teams did not qualify. How did City players fare this break?

It was definitely one of the more thrilling international breaks I have ever been a part of. Starting in CONCACAF qualifying, 3 teams were on the verge of being able to qualify, and being a U.S. fan I was nervous. Rightly so; the U.S. failed to qualify after the two teams that needed to win to get past the U.S., did win. Everything went wrong. Elsewhere, teams like Argentina and Portugal were able to secure qualification after must-win situations.

And then there’s Chile, who unfortunately lost at Brazil, and everything else went against them. That means you will not be seeing Claudio Bravo or Alexis Sanchez in the World Cup. It’s a pity. Below I take a look at the City players and how they fared for their respective countries.
