Analysis

Fabian Delph’s introduction to the team was one full of drama. After pledging his loyalty to Aston Villa, the English center midfielder unceremoniously left them to join Manchester City. The off-field noise seemed to have bothered him, as Delph struggled to find his place in star-studded City squad. After two years of injuries and bench warming, he seems to be finally ready to leave.

Surprisingly, Delph is not short of suitors. Newcastle, West Brom, Celtic, and other hoards of clubs are reportedly chasing him. The Englishman is a Premier League quality player when healthy and can help a lot of clubs.

Verdict: SELL

Manchester City needs to cash in on him as soon as possible. With so many clubs after him, Pep would be foolish not to let him go. Delph was never a quality enough player to make an impact at the Etihad.
