Analysis

Still somehow England’s No. 1, Joe Hart had a rough season at Turin. The Englishman just does not look like the keeper he once was. Hart conceded 62 goals this season, the third-highest in the Serie A. Moreover, he could only keep five clean sheets all season. His 73% distribution average is not enough for Pep to be salivating him over others.

It is not as if he does not have any suitors. Even with a return to Torino not an option, the likes of West Ham and AC Milan have said to be interested. Manchester City has definitely been listening to the phone to see which club will step up and make the move.

One advantage that Hart has over Claudio Bravo is that he is an English international. With a certain number of domestic players needed for the Champions League, Hart could be favored over the Chilean.

Verdict: SELL

Thanks for the memories Joseph, but it’s time to go. We will never forget your contributions to our title-winning campaigns, but football is a business. Claudio Bravo makes more sense as the backup than the English man. Also, Hart can fetch higher transfer fee from an English club than Bravo can.
