Analysis

Sergio Aguero is probably one of the best players in Manchester City history, but you already knew that. The prolific striker has been a staple to the Mancunian side ever since he made his switch from Atletico. While he may be often injured, he still bangs in goal at an impressive rate. Just last year, he managed to back twenty goals while only starting twenty-five games. His efficiency in front of the net is nearly unmatched anywhere. Even with the emergence of Gabriel Jesus, it will be sensible to keep the Argentine around.

However, there has been a rumor circulating that the Alexis Sanchez and Sergio Aguero might be swapped. With the London side still being stubborn with the future of the Chilean attacker, there are speculations that it would take Aguero to bring him into the Etihad.

As told by the story by my colleague Duncan Kwok, we have to wonder if Sanchez is really worth bringing in – especially for such exorbitant price.

Verdict: KEEP

There is no reason for Manchester City to let Aguero go. By the end of the season, the offense was clicking with Aguero and Jesus coexisting with each other. Why mess with something that is not broken? Also, how many players can actually replace Aguero? Not many.
