Withdrawn from Germany’s international squad

After being called up for Joachim Low’s international friendlies with Denmark and WCQ against San Marino, Sane officially withdrew from the squad.

The 21-year-old withdrew in order to perform an operation on his nose, and he surely will be ready come pre-season when City head to the U.S.

Here’s a word from the German international himself:

"I would have liked to have gone to Russia, but after talks with the medical team, I have decided to use the summer break for this operation so that I can go into the new season with a clean bill of health. (DFB official website)"

Sane has featured in our new kit reveal, but otherwise, it has been a quiet summer from the left-winger. Can’t wait to see how he looks this next season. Will be a vital player in our squad.
