7. Some City fans have been a bit critical of Sane’s last couple of performances, and I can’t necessarily disagree with him. His finishing has been woeful, but that is just one aspect of his game. He is constantly providing a threat for De Bruyne or Silva or whoever it may be to exploit the opposition’s defense. Like Jesus his attacking work rate is tremendous and his runs constantly open up holes in their defense. He again could have scored once or twice today, but overall it was a good performance from the young German.. LW. Manchester City. LEROY SANE

RW. Manchester City. GABRIEL JESUS. 8. Another goal to add to the Brazilian’s tally. That’s six in eight for him. He was always an attacking threat for us and produced some fantastic runs that eventually led to goals — was in the right place at the right time for De Bruyne’s cross, and had other chances as well. He and Aguero looked mighty smooth out there — hello to all of the haters who think they can’t play well together! His work rate was exemplary again. Can’t ask for too much more for him. Can’t wait for what is in store for him next season.

SERGIO AGUERO. 8.5. Aguero was also outstanding today. He might not have been on the scoring sheet today, but his combination play and work rate were brilliant. The one-two he had with Toure was fantastic, and he was unfortunate to not get a goal. Aguero has certainly added some dimension to his play under Guardiola. We definitely should hold on to him for next season.. ST. Manchester City
