8.5. Another staggering performance from Yaya. I am consistently surprised at how he has been able to produce such fantastic performances the last couple of months or so. If only he had been available earlier in the season…
His distribution and combination with Silva, Aguero, and Jesus were crucial in our build up and attack. This was evident in the brilliant one-two he had with Aguero before using his strength to edge past the Baggies’ defense and put away a solid finish. Another great display from the Ivorian international. Surely with these performances, you would think he should get another contract extension….
. CDM. Manchester City. YAYA TOURE

I think De Bruyne getting some stick this season for his lack of end product and statistics is astonishing. He has been crucial to our chance creation this season and this is evident in a number of assists he has — he has two more than Christian Eriksen and Sigurdsson who have bigger targets at their disposal. He again produced some juicy chances for Gabi Jesus, and Aguero, with one of them coming from a brilliant run and cross to Jesus to start off our scoring.
He wowed me even more with an absolutely tremendous volley — one that should not be overlooked as it was a really difficult one. Props to him for that finish. It was truly fantastic.
. CM. Manchester City. KEVIN DE BRUYNE. 9

Manchester City. DAVID SILVA. 8. El Mago went about his regular business with his fantastic distribution and vision but didn’t produce anything stunning today. Nonetheless, he didn’t have to as other individuals flourished today. One thing that was especially admirable for the Spaniard today was his tracking back and tackling — he produced some crucial tackles to stop West Brom’s attack and win the ball back. Not something always seems from Silva, but it was great to see.. CM
