First Center Midfielder – Kevin De Bruyne
With David Silva likely to be out for Thursday’s clash, De Bruyne’s importance to the team is more vital than before. His 13 league assists are good for top spot among the league leaders, while his work rate off the ball is also important to Manchester City’s success. De Bruyne is a fiery player that could beat you with a single pass or goal. He puts in a lot of work for the team, that not a lot of attacking midfielders normally would do. At 25, De Bruyne still has a lot to offer to the team and I expect him to continue growing as one of Europe’s best midfielders.
