Left Midfielder – Leroy Sane
The 21-year-old German international has chipped in two goals this month, and nine all season across all competitions. Sane’s explosive pace cannot be taught, while his skill with the ball forces defenders to think twice about stepping for a challenge. Sane’s ability has grown under Pep Guardiola, and should continue to grow. Sane makes excellent runs down the left-flank and is always a pest inside the opponents’ box. Paired with fellow attackers; Kevin De Bruyne, David Silva, and Sergio Aguero, Sane’s game has stepped up from his time at Schalke.
