Second Center Back – Eric Bailly
Out of the numerous defenders Manchester United has on its roster, I feel Bailly has been the most consistent of the bunch. With Chris Smalling, Marcos Rojo, and Phil Jones all out injured, Bailly has been called into more starts than expected. The Ivorian international is a physical defender that has been able to withstand some early criticism. Bailly is certainly a defender for Manchester United’s future and has shown some growing signs of improvement. I expect him to continue to start with several defenders recovering for injury issues.
