Left Back – Gael Clichy
With Manchester United having numerous players play at the left back position this season, Clichy earns this spot. He is a regular for Manchester City and has been the last several matches over Alex Kolarov. Clichy may not be as mobile as he once was, however the defender still has a lot to offer in Pep’s back-line. At 31, Clichy’s time at Manchester City may be coming to an end shortly but I don’t see this season being his last at the Etihad. He has two goals across all competitions, which is more than he has had the last four seasons combined. Overall, Clichy has done a solid job in the back and is always ready to start when Pep needs him.
