Right Back – Cedric Soares

In his second season at Southampton, Soares looks to be enjoying his role as the team’s #1 right-back. An appearance on Saturday will give him 24 league appearances this season, tying him with his finished result a year ago. He is an attacking defender that enjoys making crosses to his teammates inside the box. However, defense is Soares’ first priority and he makes sure to be aggressive with opposing attackers. Soares is a smart defender that should definitely see more time with the Portuguese National Team.
