Left Back – Gael Clichy

At 31, Clichy has been able to add another defender for Pep Guardiola to rotate into his plans. I feel he has done a good job under the new boss and has been able to make himself available for selection. He has featured in 25 appearances in all comps so far and should be starting over Alex Kolarov on Sunday. Resting Kolarov would allow Clichy to get some more playing time, and an experience defender starting always helps the team’s chances.
