Combined Best XI UCL: Manchester City vs. AS Monaco
By Larry Henry
Second Striker – Radamel Falcao
A couple of seasons ago, a lot of fans and media alike through Falcao’s career was done. After joining Monaco this summer, the Colombian has netted 20 goals between Ligue 1 and the Champions League which leads the team. At 31, he still has some years left to produce the way he did at Atletico Madrid. He is strong and good in the air, while also providing a calm and controlled touch with the ball at his feet. He is a huge reason why Monaco have tallied the most goals among Europe’s top five domestic leagues.

Overall, this draw should be a dandy with two of the top scoring sides duking it out. Both teams provide a lot of talent, which made this starting XI one of the toughest so far to choose. I expect Manchester City to win the first leg at home, before strapping up for a tough road test in Monaco in March.
