2016 proved to be a very exciting year for Manchester City fans, even if the big trophies didn’t arrive. Here is a look at our top 10 moments of the year.

While the league doesn’t run on a calendar year, there were some great moments for the club from start to finish. Well almost the finish, minus this final day. As 2016 closes out we thought it would be a good idea to take a look back at some of the top moments that happened for the team.

Joe Hart’s departure was a sad moment for most City fans, and a reminder that Pep’s reign was truly here. While Hart’s loan move was a big event, losing a long term player can’t be considered top, viewed in the positive sense. Similarly, the club re-branded from MCFC to ManCity in official media capacities. Interesting, but not a top moment. So without further ado here is moment #10 from 2016 for Manchester City.
