Hull City 0-2 Everton

Everton are playing much better after a subpar November. Hull meanwhile are struggling and seem to be the side many thought they’d be in the Premier League this season. With Lukaku hitting the back of the net regularly expect all three points to head back with Everton.

Saturday

Burnley 1-1 Sunderland

Sunderland had been playing well and then were humbled by Manchester United. Burnley play well at home and should be able to dictate the game, but Defoe remains a goal threat and he could easily snake a draw for the Black Cats.

Manchester United 2-0 Middlesbrough

There seems to be a slight swagger returning to United recently. We heard similar rumblings at the beginning of the year, but then the wheels fell off. This time seems to be different though as players are stepping up and Zlatan is playing very well. Nothing is easy in the Premier League, but United fans should be happy on New Years Eve.

Swansea City 0-1 Bournemouth

Swansea are a mess. They are in such a mess reports surfaced they are in talks with Harry Redknapp. Bournemouth are playing well and despite having to travel can win this game and probably should.
