After the midweek matches Manchester City is only behind Arsenal one point for third place. Who makes the combined best XI from these two title contenders?

In was a shaky few weeks for Manchester City, finally stopped by the 2-0 victory over Watford. Sunday brings a much steeper test in Arsenal. Already without Sergio and Fernandinho to suspension, City will have to go without Kompany and now Gundogan due to injury. With two highly talented teams, who would make a best combined XI. Note only players available are considered, as well as current form.

Goalkeeper – Petr Cech

At the start of the year Man City would have hoped this would be a more difficult decision. But after several rough games this year for Bravo, Cech is the clear choice. He has tons of Premier League experience and is a safer bet not to make rash decisions at this point. Bravo rebounded slightly against Watford, but still has a ways to go before City fans will fully embrace him. Cech would top most combined XIs.
