Sergio Aguero: Grade – A

Sergio Aguero remains a Manchester City legend, and could become absolutely immortal if he continues at his current pace. He has been in full form so far this season, scoring ten goals in twelve Premier League matches. He also moved into place as City’s sixth all-time goalscorer after notching 149 goals earlier this season. Aguero has been vital to City’s success this season, and his impeccable run his largely kept Iheanacho on the sidelines. He has simply been too good this season to give him many games off. I give Aguero an A with a slight hint of bitterness. His grade would be an A+ in my opinion if not for the match this past weekend against Chelsea. The match ended with an unnecessarily harsh tackle on Chelsea’s David Luiz that resulted in Aguero being sent off, and led to Fernandinho’s penalty. As a result, Aguero could miss four or more league games for us, a punishment that could really hurt our position in the table. For the full story on his potential ban, look below.
