Jesus Navas: Grade – C
Jesus Navas was a tough player to grade. On one hand, his contributions to the stat sheet this season have been nonexistent, on the other, Navas is a hard worker, who opens up opposing defenses for us and tracks back with regularity. Navas has appeared in nine league games this season, and has been a mixed bag for the most part. He is in my opinion, an excellent super-sub. He has amazing quickness, and some real determination, despite a lack of ability in the final third and relatively diminutive size. Navas‘ future at City is unclear, as his contract expires this coming June, and no talks of extension have been had at this point. While he may not be starting material under Pep, he is still a great player to bring off the bench and should continue to get opportunities.
