Fernando – Grade – C-

Fernando slots into the midfield for City to help us finish out games and bring a bit more steel to that area of the pitch. Fernando has certainly been a downgrade from Fernandinho in the same position whenever he has stepped onto the pitch.

Appearing in six league games this season, two of them as a substitute, I no longer have much faith in the player. He lacks the quality needed to see regular action and is not good enough in possession to fit Pep’s schemes. Whether he will show up when needed is anyone’s guess.
