Ilkay Gundogan – Grade: B+

Although Ilkay Gundogan’s time at City has been short, he has made an immense impact during his given opportunities. After spending the offseason and the earlier part of the season rehabbing from injury, Gundogan has earned his place in the City lineup.

In seven Premier League games, Gundogan has netted three goals with an assist. He has been an even greater chance-creator than the record reflects. Other than the match where he was subbed on against Tottenham Hotspur, Gundogan has looked extremely agile with the ball at his feet and has shown the quality he displayed at Borussia Dortmund for several years.
